Last updated 30 September 2026 · for everbud users in Washington State and other US states with consumer health data laws
The short version
- We don't sell your health data, and we don't use it for advertising.
- We collect it only to run the features you use, and keep it in your account only with your consent.
- Family and friends see only what you choose to share with them.
- You can get a copy, delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time.
This policy is part of our Privacy Policy and uses the terms of Washington's My Health My Data Act. "Consumer health data" means personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to you and identifies your past, present or future physical or mental health. everbud is operated by YourPace Mentor (Trade License No. TRAD/DNCC/031143/2024, Uttara, Dhaka-1230, Bangladesh) and its affiliate YourPace Mentor LLC (30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA). 1. The consumer health data we collect, and why
| What | Why we use it |
|---|---|
| Medicines, doses you mark, supplements and prescriptions | Reminders, your history, interaction warnings, and family care alerts you switch on |
| Blood pressure readings and lab results | Your records and trends, the doctor pack you make, and alerts to family you choose |
| Weight, meals, water, sleep, workouts and steps | Your daily log, trends and weekly summary |
| Period dates and symptoms | Cycle tracking, only for you. Never shared with family or friends. |
| Journal entries | Your journal, only for you |
| Photos of prescriptions, lab reports and meals | Read or estimated by an AI service when you ask; we keep what you confirm, not the photo |
| Voice recordings | Turned into text when you use voice input; not kept |
| Estimates and alerts we work out from the above (for example calories from a meal photo, a missed-dose or high-reading alert, your weekly reflection) | To show them to you, and alerts to the family members you chose |
We use consumer health data only to provide the features you ask for, to back up and sync your records (with your consent), and to keep everbud safe. We don't use it for advertising and we don't use geofences around health care places. Your location is used on your phone for prayer times and is not sent to us.
2. Where it comes from
- You: what you log, photograph, record or type in the app.
- Your phone's health platform: steps and sleep from Health Connect or Apple Health, only if you connect them.
- A family member who looks after you: if a parent or relative manages a profile for someone without a phone, they enter that person's information.
- Our processing: the estimates and alerts described above.
3. Who we share it with
We share consumer health data only as needed to provide what you asked for, or with your consent:
- People you choose: family members you give access to (per person, per type: medicines and doses, blood pressure, lab reports, the "hasn't opened everbud" alert), and people in groups or competitions you join (for example a step total). A doctor pack goes to whoever you send it to.
- Service providers that process it for us under their terms: our hosting and database provider (Supabase); AI services (OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to, with data collection denied; Groq for speech to text); notification delivery (Expo, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Push Notification service), for the text of alerts; and our email provider (Resend), for the weekly summary.
- Our affiliate: YourPace Mentor LLC, which operates everbud with YourPace Mentor.
- When the law requires it, or to protect someone's life or safety.
We do not sell consumer health data. Meta receives no health data, even if you turn on ad measurement.
The full list of services, with what each receives, is in section 6 of our Privacy Policy. You can also ask us for a list of the third parties and affiliates we've shared your consumer health data with, and how to contact them.
4. Your rights, and how to use them
- Know and access: confirm whether we hold your consumer health data and get a copy. Settings › Download my data gives you one straight away.
- Delete: Settings › Delete account deletes your account and the health data in it, and we tell the service providers that hold it for us to delete it too. You can also delete single entries in the app.
- Withdraw consent: delete your account to withdraw consent to keeping your records; turn off AI features, family sharing or Health Connect / Apple Health at any time.
- Get the list of third parties and affiliates we've shared it with.
To make any request, email privacy@everbud.app from the email address you sign in with, so we can confirm it's you. We respond within 45 days; if we need more time (up to 45 more days), we'll tell you why. Using your rights is free, and we won't treat you differently for using them.
Appeals: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the word "Appeal". We'll answer within 45 days and explain our decision. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
5. How long we keep it
Until you delete it or your account. After account deletion it is removed from our live systems straight away and from our hosting provider's routine backups within 30 days. Details are in section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
