What the numbers mean

For each meal you get an estimate of calories, protein, carbs and fat, and Home shows how much is left for your day. Photo scans are AI estimates, so treat them as a guide and tap any line to fix it.

Calories are estimates, a guide and not an exact count. If you have diabetes or another condition, plan what you eat with your doctor or a dietitian.

Questions

Does a meal scan cost anything?

Each photo scan uses one AI action, and Free includes 15 a month. Barcode lookups don't use your allowance, and typing a meal in by hand is always free.

How accurate are the calories?

They are estimates. Portions on a photo are hard to judge exactly, so check the amounts and change anything that looks off before you save.

Does it know Bangladeshi dishes?

Yes. Search finds everyday dishes like bhat, dal, rui curry, khichuri and biryani, with portions in cups, bowls and plates.
