Paid, but your plan isn't active

Takes 2 minutes · Updated 11 October 2026

Your plan normally switches on within a minute of paying. If it hasn't, these steps fix it almost every time.

Try these first

  1. Close everbud and open it again. The app checks your plan each time you come back to it. On Android you can also pull down on the Plans screen.
  2. Use the same everbud account. Your plan belongs to the everbud account you were signed in to when you paid. If you have more than one account, go to More → Settings → Sign out, then sign back in with the one you used that day.
  3. On iPhone, restore your purchase. Go to More → Plus and Family (or Your plan) and tap Restore purchases. Your iPhone must be signed in to the Apple Account that paid. When it works, More shows Your plan.

Waiting for Apple?

If everbud says Waiting for approval, Apple hasn't confirmed the payment yet. Your plan starts by itself as soon as it does.

Did you join someone else's Family plan?

Family is shared by the person who started your family group in everbud. If they're on Family, you'll see Shared with you by your family on Your plan. If someone else in the family bought Family, it covers only them. Ask the person who started the group to buy it instead. If you paid for an extra plan by mistake, see Cancelling a plan, and refunds.
